THAI NGUYEN possesses a vast experience in M&A, investment banking, IPO, financial advisory, and assurance services in Vietnam and Thailand. When at BW Industrial, a real-estate platform co-founded by Warburg Pincus and Becamex, he has led the acquisition of 8 projects with total deal values of over 150 mil USD. He also has a strong finance and operational background by working as the financial advisor to companies in Logistics, Renewable Energy, Education, Farming and Veterinary, Manufacturing.
EDUARDO BATISTA has a background in deal-making in the large emerging markets of China, Brazil, and Vietnam, across the manufacturing, industrial goods, and retail industries. Most recently, he worked at Vietnam's most experienced private-equity firm, Mekong Capital. In Brazil, Eduardo was the point-person leading Artica Investments’ global expansion in M&A through Clairfield International. Before launching the Search Fund, Eduardo was accepted into a PhD program on Industrial Engineering at Stanford University, after graduating as a Schwarzman Scholar from Tsinghua University in China.

LT Partners was founded by Eduardo Batista and Thai Nguyen to search for and acquire a great Vietnamese business. After the acquisition, Eduardo and Thai will manage day to day operations of the acquired business together with the investee company and its owners, to unlock the best version of the company’s long-term growth potential.

Investment Criteria

LT Partners is searching for a business that meets the below criteria

– High recurring revenue: >US$5mn in which >50% repeat revenue with low cyclicality;

– Stable EBITDA and cashflows: >US$2mn EBITDA;

– Long-term industry growth tailwind;

– Favorable working capital position and low capital intensity;

– A business in need of a succession solution;
